"Seek the peace and prosperity of the city…pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper”
Jeremiah 49:7

“Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name; worship the LORD in the splendour of his holiness.” Psalm 29:2.
The Upper Room is a space for meeting with our Lord together in prayer and worship. Our Heavenly Father has blessed the town of Watford with many believers who know Him and are seeking His heart, and the Upper Room senses His invitation to take part in encouraging His people to seek Him together across denominations. Therefore, you are very welcome to come to worship and seek the Lord for our town here, as a supplement to what you are part of in your own church.
We believe the Upper Room is called to be a place for ‘watchmen’ who will not ‘keep silent’ (Isaiah 62:6), but who keep reminding the Lord, by always rejoicing in Him, being ‘anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving letting our requests be made known to God’ (Phil 4:6-7). We believe He will give us strength and joy as we seek Him, worship Him, listen to him and give Him ‘no rest’ until he has made Watford a testimony of His magnificent love, grace and salvation.
